Christmas was a success!

We had a wonderful Christmas around the Newman house last week. Here are just some of the Christmas festivities we participated in: the Celebration in Lights at Newport News Park, driving around and looking at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve, visiting Santa at Bass Pro, Christmas Party at Hampton Play Group, opening gifts with Uncle Ronnie, Aunt Heather, and Haley, making cookies for Santa, and opening new Christmas jammies! Carter and Lena also had a great time opening presents on Christmas Day, well, at least Carter did, Lena just kind of took it all in, but I think she did enjoyed herself. :)

Numero Uno

I've been wanting to create a blog for awhile now and after the kids went to bed tonight I was messing around online (as usual) and decided to just go for it. So, here I am! I'm hoping to be able to chronicle my life as a full time graduate student and stay at home mom to my two babies as well as to keep our family updated on what's going on in our lives since almost all of them live out of town. So, sit back and enjoy the ride!
